PROCEDURE FOR 2016/2017 ADMISSION SCREENING EXERCISE

This is to inform all candidates who applied for admission into degree programmes of ATBU Bauchi for the 2016/2017 Academic Session as First or Second choice and have scored 180 and above in the UTME, and a minimum of Lower Credit / Merit grade in Diploma from a recognized polytechnic accredited by NABTEB, 9 Points in NCE/IJMB, that there will be online screening which commences on 24th August and ends on 9th September 2016.

NOTES:

1. The following courses have NOT been accredited so therefore candidate who choose any of these courses should hold on till further notice.
• Architecture
• Building Technology
• Surveying and Geoinformatics
• Industrial Design
• Automobile Technology Education
• Building Technology Education
• Electrical Electronics Education
• Business Education
• Integrated Science Education
2. Direct Entry (DE) students should hold on as their records are being expected within the week from JAMB.

Procedure for screening:

1. Candidates should visit ATBU website, locate and click on the 2016/2017 ATBU Screening red link / button at the bottom - left below the slider of the Home Page. This opens the 2016/2017 Screening Procedure Page where you can proceed for login.
2. Click Login, this will take you to a page where you are to provide a valid JAMB Number as a Username and Click the Login button. Generate your Remita Retrieval Reference Number (RRR) and proceed to any bank for payment or you can pay using a credit or debit card.
3. After payment, revisit the Portal to login to your account, fill the Screening Form accordingly and upload your passport photograph.
4. After submitting the form, Print a copy of the Acknowledgement Slip for future reference.
5. List of eligible candidates who have met the requirements from amongst those who have registered will be displayed on the website in due course. Candidates are expected to frequently visit the website www.atbu.edu.ng for updated information.
6. The successful candidates will be invited for physical screening in a date to be announced later.

2016 NDLEA RECRUITMENT

NDLEA commences recruitmen

minister of Justice and the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami (SAN), has said the federal government has approved the recruitment of 5000 staff in the National Drug Law and Enforcement Agency, (NDLEA), in addition to 10,000 in 2017.
Malami, who spoke at the ECOWAS ministers meeting, said there are plans by the federal government to improve the capacity of the agency in relation to fighting crimes in the region. Malami, who urged member countries’ ministers to adopt the new ECOWAS Regional Drug Action Plan, for the year 2016-2020, said it provides a road map and working document for the ECOWAS drug control team.

“We see and applaud that kind of political commitment in the region. We also want to see the translation of political commitment into real actions,” Ugbe said.

mean while it was observed that there are complaints on the registration for direct entry candidates i personally tried consistently for one of my friends and this was the output shown 

Note: the above output shows on an attempt to log in for a d.e candidate.
on a contrary when tried to log in for utme candidate it was successful as shown below

then after generating the rrr and done with the final payment, the form finally opened where i filled in the necessary  information.
Note: scratch card for all sittings is mandatory as you can't submit without it.

Problem Encountered:
From what i saw, there is no June/July on the candidates year of exams, no option for awaiting result etc

Conclusion: our blog concluded that possibly the school may be working on their site for upgrate. Keep patronizing our blog for updates and don't forget to drop your comments below thanks

2016/2017 ADMISSION PRE-SCREENING UNIJOS

Unijos invites candidates who made the University their 1st choice & scored 180 & above in the 2016 UTME JAMB exam to participate in the Pre-Admission Screening exercise for the 2016/17 Academic Session. Each candidate, on payment of Registration Fee of N2,500 (excluding Bank Charges), shall be scheduled for physical screening from 5th-14th Sept, 2016 @ the respective Faculties of choice by 8am daily.
Payment is through Banks or the Remita collection platform. Please, candidates should avoid patronizing road side business centres.
